I had 27months of driving experience in my home country. When I came to Canada, I had about 6 driving sessions at Young star driving school and aced my G license at first attempt. Going into the program, I had some driving experience from a past driving school, but I wasn’t very confident in my skills. My driving instructor Nafeesa helped me gain confidence behind the wheel and made sure I was prepared for the G2 road test. On the day of the test, I was very nervous but Nafeesa assured me that I would be fine. I passed the G2 test on the first try! I couldn’t have done it without Young Star Driving 🙂
I wish I could give more than 5 stars for Nafeesa!! The best instructor ever, she helped me develop excellent/ smart driving skills in no time. She is extremely professional, diligent and supportive instructor, she understands your strengths and weaknesses and guides you accordingly to achieve your objective. I have finally overcome my fear of getting behind the wheels after 11 years thanks to Abid Sir. His patience and perseverance has made me clear G2 in one go at Port Union where passing rate is hard. I am able to drive confidently now and his teachings are always with me when I am behind the wheels. Highly recommend him as a teacher. His method are constructive, logical and easy to remember. As a 30-something year old woman driving for the first time, I was incredibly anxious. I was assigned Abid who from Lesson 1 brought the calmness that I needed (even when a deer ran across Kingston Road 5 minutes into our first lesson!).Not only that, but Abid is incredibly knowledgeable on what it takes to pass both the test and stay safe on the road long after you’ve passed. He put so much care and effort in so that I would pass my G2 first time with flying colours—and yesterday I did! In my opinion, he’s got to be one of the best driving instructors in the city, if not the province. I had a great experience with Young Star Driving School. The online learning was easy to follow and provided a lot of good tips to help with practical skills. My instructor Nafeesa was amazing! She is kind, patient and made me feel so calm during all of my lessons. When it came to booking my G2 driving test she handled everything for me and I was able to use the same car I did in my lessons for my test as well. Thanks Abid for great observations and for identifying my weakness for my G2 and G tests.Just in case you failed for 1st time, get the soft copy of your test results from online drive test site and show to him. This will help him to concentrate more on your weaknesses.Also, I’d like to say big thanks for suggesting to give my G test second attempt at Oshawa drive test instead of Port Union. This suggestion was little bit expensive but end results was G test pass 😊.I’ll highly recommend to go with Young Star Driving School and if possible, get Abid as your instructor.

10/10 experience! I’ve taken driving lessons before with a different company to get my G2, and even though I passed I was still nervous doing the test and it took 2 attempts.With Young Star, specifically with my driver Abid, it was an amazing experience! Abid is very personable, friendly, humourous and has a very patient and detailed way of instructing. He really breaks things down so you’re able to grasp different concepts and really become comfortable driving. By the time my G test came up, I wasn’t even nervous because I was so confident in my driving abilities by then. As someone who has been nervous about driving essentially my whole life, words cannot describe the night and day difference in my driving confidence , after these lessons.10/10 would recommend!
I had gone to another driving school but was left unsatisfied by their level of instruction. I was referred to Young Star by my sister, and I am so glad to have found Nafeesa and Abid. They are very personable and thorough. I was able to pass my G2 with Nafeesa, and then my G test with Abid. I was able to tell that this driving school really takes care of their students — Nafeesa and Abid were motivating, encouraging, and always willing to go the extra mile for me.
I have known Mr. Zubayr for a few years and have always been super satisfied. He helped me with both G2 and full G drive tests. He’s the most professional person you can deal with..
